Our Prompt, Diane.
Meet the bar personnel. These two efficient bar attendants Make Calcutta’s Bar patrons feel right at home. Don is the “Scotch Savant.” If he doesn’t have it, it does not exist. Katie is the connoisseur of exotic drinks. From an Appletini to glass of Zawlaidi, Katie knows her stuff.
A top notch salesman has little time to look for the right lady so Destiny Dating is the agency for MICHAEL DARCY. He’s been burned before so he’s cautious about the kind of woman he’d like to meet. Will Destiny Dating have difficulty finding someone who appreciates Mr. Darcy’s unique sense of humour?
ROBIN is also known as ‘The Computer Delivery Man.” He is the FORCE that brings Destiny Dating into the 21 Century!!….well perhaps the 20th Century. All right, he just delivers the computer. I wonder how computerization is going for Destiny Dating??
MRS. GUINEVERE PARKER (that’s VERE & don’t you forget it!) is a 30-ish, well actually more a 40-ish, dolly bird who, in desperation, has turned to a dating agency. So far all her Mr. Rights have turned out to be Mr. Wrongs. Will Destiny Dating do a better job??
An unhappy marriage has not stopped downtrodden MRS. MINNIE from looking for love. There has to be someone out there who will appreciate her. With trepidation but a positive outlook, she is willing to try again. Will Destiny Dating find Cleo the man of her dreams??
LANCE ANTHONY is a rugged outdoorsman, dealer in exotics, a man’s man. He runs a successful business but to whom will he leave his legacy? He has no children. Is there a woman out there who can deal with his animal magnetism? Can Destiny Dating come up with the goods?
MR. CLYDE ARTHUR is a retired train driver who has been a widow for 25 years. Perhaps it is time for this gentleman to meet a woman who will look after him in his old age, who will share his time with the odd dinner out or a trip to the country. Will Destiny Dating find him that perfect match?
Destiny Dating’s secretary MARIAN has worked with Mrs. White for many years. She is a determined bachelorette, uninterested in Destiny Dating’s clientele…says she’s perfectly happy with being single…Me thinks she doth protest too much??
MRS. WHITE has run Destiny Dating for many years. Her company is well established with a good reputation but clientele has dropped off. (Truth be told, most are over the hill & quickly descending) Mrs. White is determined to harness new computerized methods while giving quality personal service. She believes “Almost isn’t good enough”.

It is…a date!
There is certainly a place for the personal touch in the dating agency business, at least
so believes Mrs. White, the owner of long established Destiny Dating.
Ironically, the agency is located above the Relate Office which specialized in
relationship problems & marriage counseling.
Mrs. White & her secretary, Marian have always stood by their motto “Almost Isn’t Good
Enough!” as they painstakingly paired up their clients.
However patrons are sparse. They can only pair up clients with their friends for so long.
It is time for change.
A computer and an ‘advert’ in the local newspaper seem to be the answer.
Will Marian’s fear of lowering the tone of the agency come true?
Will it encourage the wrong type of person?
How will the new clients be match up?
And my goodness, how could a computer possibly cause havoc??
Come on out to find out!
